Vivek Ramaswamy has been ridiculed online after sharing on his X (formerly known as Twitter) social media account what many deem a wild conspiracy theory.

The former GOP presidential candidate claimed this year’s Super Bowl would be rigged to allow one of the world’s most beloved pop stars could endorse Joe Biden. Yet fans were quick to fire back at this theory.

Vivek Ramaswamy took to X on Monday, Jan. 29, to make a bold prediction about this year’s Super Bowl final.

The theory came in response to Jack Poso’s tweet: “Thinking about when Taylor Swift called out the Soros family in 2019 for buying the rights to her music and then how she came out a super liberal in 2020.”

Vivek replied to Poso’s tweet by suggesting the possibility of the game between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs being rigged.

“I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month. And I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall. Just some wild speculation over here, let’s see how it ages over the next 8 months,” wrote Ramaswamy.

After the tweet was posted, many GOP followers were quick to read between the lines and suggest Vivek had a hidden message in mind.

One that postulates the couple mentioned was none other than this year’s hot topic, Travis Kelce and his pop star girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

Basically, what it came down to is Vivek believes the Super Bowl is rigged so that Taylor Swift could endorse Biden.

After posting the tweet to his X account, Vivek was hit with heavy backlash, including many calling him out for spreading conspiracy theories.

According to The Daily Beast, the former GOP presidential candidate went “full tinfoil hat.”

Everyday users of the popular social media app, now under the command of Elon Musk, also went after Vivek for his theory.

One of the first to comment on Vivek’s post was Heath Mayo, an Associate in Wachtell Lipton’s Corporate Department.

“Nothing to see here, folks—just a wild-eyed mouth-frothing conspiracy theory from an adult male that the Super Bowl outcome is purposefully rigged by Biden in exchange for the eventual endorsement of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. These people have mental issues. Seriously,” he wrote.

According to Franklin Leonard, Vivek’s comments and entire political career can be traced back to his high school years.

“I’ve said before that @VivekGRamaswamy’s entire political career is about getting revenge on the people who made fun of him in high school, and I’ve never been more sure of it than right now,” he wrote.

    Vivek Rhymes with Fake Loser

“Rock star author” @taradublinrocks shared her opinion with her following of over 100,000 users.

“I wonder why this failed paid plant is jumping on the stupid MAGA bandwagon to claim that a football game was rigged by Democrats just because Taylor Swift happened to be there, too. There are many reasons why VIVEK rhymes with FAKE, loser,” she wrote.

Conspiracy Theory Has No Basis in Reality

Author and columnist David Marcus claims Vivek’s theory has no basis in reality and argues the Chiefs don’t need to rig the game in order to bring home another Super Bowl.

“Obviously, if the Chiefs who have been to 6 straight conference championships, won 2 Super Bowls, have the world’s best QB and a legendary coach win the game it must be a conspiracy,” he wrote.

The conspiracy theory appears to arise from endorsement deals Swift’s boyfriend, Kelce, has received.

The Chiefs star was one of many celebrities who promoted Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccination. He’s also earned himself a deal with Bud Light, both of which have been attacked by Republicans in recent years.

As Kelce has never publicly endorsed a politician for any office, it seems unlikely he’ll announce his support for a presidential candidate anytime soon.

On the other hand, Swift endorsed Tennessee Democrats Jim Cooper and Phil Bredson for Congress in 2018. Yet, no mention of a presidential endorsement has come from a source close to the pop star.
