Alyssa Miller is a writer, editor, and educator with a passion for entertainment and pop culture. She graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Communications. Before graduating, Alyssa worked as a freelance entertainment and film education writer, contributing to a variety of publications, including Britain’s First Frame Magazine. She also continued to write short stories and screenplays in her free time.

Sam is an experienced writer and avid video game enthusiast, contributing to notable gaming publications such as GamingPizza, TheGamer, and SVG. Sam has played a pivotal role in the strategy and development of these websites, while also laying the foundational success for growing food-related websites like TheTravel, TheRecipe, Mashed, and Chowhound, by writing and editing high-quality, engaging content for each site's audience.

Beth started working as a freelance writer in 2021 and has had her work published on multiple websites and focuses on a variety of niches. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and family.

Emma is an experienced writer with several years of experience providing a wide range of content. She previously worked as a teacher of English Literature and Language in a secondary school. She is also a voracious reader and loves to go out walking and cycling at every opportunity, weather permitting!

Amanda is passionate about three things: movies, podcasting, and writing. While she’s been writing in different media for ages, podcasting about cinema’s latest offers is her more recent obsession. Her loyal companions both when writing and podcasting are a cup of coffee, her old school pen and notebook, and the orange cats that have invaded her house.

Erin Kannon is a technical, non-fiction editor with 20+ years of experience working overseas in SE Asia in publishing, academia, and humanitarian fields. Her background in education and healthcare lends to a wide range of interests, evidenced by the stacks of books found around her Bangkok home. Her motto: The day is wasted if you haven’t learned anything!

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

If I could describe myself in 5 brief words I would say that I am “fascinated with all things abstract” and a total word nerd. Writing keeps my imagination from bubbling over, so it’s perfect I get to spent time each day creating something impactful content and that helps people see the world more clearly.
