    Snoop Dogg Confuses Fans by Sharing Warm Words About Trump

    Snoop Dogg has left many of his fans confused after directing warm words toward Donald Trump in a recent interview.

    After admitting he “has love” for the former president, fans online have begun to speculate upon Snoop Dogg’s current political beliefs and who he may endorse in this year’s presidential race.

    Snoop Dogg’s Early Political Beliefs

    The Californian rapper has typically voted for Democratic presidential candidates over most of his career.

    Snoop Dogg disclosed he voted for Obama in 2012. However, he attacked on numerous occasions Trump during his time as president.

    Beef with Donald Trump

    The rapper’s beef with Trump was made public in 2017 when he released a song titled “Lavender.”

    In the music video, a figure is seen pointing a gun at a clown who’s dressed to resemble Trump.

    Trump Fires Back

    In the wake of the music video release, Trump took to X, known then as Twitter, to share his opinion on the dis.

    “Can you imagine what the outcry would be if [Snoop Dogg], failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!” wrote Trump (via USA Today).

    Snoop Publicly Calls Out Trump

    It was evident Snoop Dogg hadn’t changed his mind by the end of Trump’s term as president, as in 2020, he took further aim at him.

    “Donald Trump is a f–king weirdo. If you voted for him, I don’t have a problem with that. But if you’re still with him, f–k you,” said Snoop (via Distractify).

    Burying the Hatchet

    From the previous attempts to dis Trump, it’s clear Snoop Dogg held a strong dislike for the former “Apprentice” host at one point in his career.

    However, it appears the rapper has since changed his tune and is on good terms with the presidential candidate.

    Nothing But Love for Trump

    Speaking with the British news outlet The Sunday Times, Snoop surprised many of his fans by claiming he respects the former president.

    “I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump,” Snoop Dogg said.

    Trump Pardons Michael Harris

    In a separate part of the interview, Snoop spoke about Trump’s decision to pardon Michael Harris.

    “Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me,” Snoop Doggg told the British outlet. “He has done only great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris.”

    Founder of Death Records Sentenced to Life

    Michael Harris cofounded Death Records alongside Dr. Dre and Suge Knight in 1991. Snoop would later sign to the record label in 1993.

    According to reports, Harris was sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of conspiring to commit first-degree murder.

    Trump Pardons Harris

    Before leaving office, Trump pardoned Harris, who had served 30 years of a life sentence at that point.

    “I love what they did,” Snoop told the New York Post (via Deadline). “That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out.”

    Fans Question Snoops Political Beliefs

    After the interview in Britain, fans have begun questioning which president Snoop will endorse for the 2024 election.

    Some have even claimed that Snoop may endorse Trump in the coming months.

    As it stands, Snoop Dogg said he hasn’t decided whether or not he will endorse a candidate like he did back in 2012.

    However, the rapper said, “I may have to,” he told The Sunday Times. “Because there are mixed views on that, so I want to see what the people say.”
